dreams can be really fascinating things and they affect everyone differently. just some ideas to start off... 1. do you normally dream in color or black and white? 2. how often do you remember your dreams from the previous night? 3. how often do you have nightmares? 4. have you ever had a dream that you thought had a lot of meaning? 5. how often do you dream in first person compared to third person perspectives? 6. do you ever have recurring dreams? an interesting dream interpretation site: dreammoods.com/

In my dreams, I'm usually searching for someone or something, or else trying to figure something out. :\ weird... thats a theme in most of my dreams as well >_> ill answer my own questions now... 1. always always color. ive never had one in black and white. 2. 5-6 times a week but it isnt uncommon for me to remember my dream every night. its practically a second life. 3. ive never had a nightmare 4. i had one dream i thought may have had some meaning simply because it was so vivid and unusual. 5. i mostly dream in first person though some of the more memorable ones ive had were third person 6. ive never had a recurring dream, but ive been to the same imaginary places more than once, just for different reasons each time. about half the stories i write are based off of my more vivid and detailed dreams.

1. do you normally dream in color or black and white? Color, I think.. I never really notice.
2. how often do you remember your dreams from the previous night? Usually only a couple times a week.
3. how often do you have nightmares? Not very often. Lately I've only had a couple per year.
4. have you ever had a dream that you thought had a lot of meaning? Yes.
5. how often do you dream in first person compared to third person perspectives? I think I usually dream in third person, or an odd combination of first and third person.
6. do you ever have recurring dreams? Not anymore but man, I used to. They were vivid dreams of warning and often left me terrified. Sometimes I would wake in a cold sweat breathing like I'd run a mile. As soon as I did what the dreams urged me to do, I stopped having them. If you want to know more about the dreams feel free to PM me and I'll tell you.

1. do you normally dream in color or black and white? Always Color. I dont think I have ever had a dream in black and white.
2. how often do you remember your dreams from the previous night? Almost every night. I have wild and sometimes really weird dreams. It's hard to forget them. XP
3. how often do you have nightmares? I havent had one in years and years. Or maybe it's just that they dont scare me anymore. I have no idea. XP
4. have you ever had a dream that you thought had a lot of meaning? Yeah, there was a few, but I would rather not talk about them. XP
5. how often do you dream in first person compared to third person perspectives? Always first person. Only a couple times has it been thrid person.
6. do you ever have recurring dreams? I have very very simular dreams sometimes, not never the same ones.
Now a question I think is interesting. Has anyone ever had any dreams that have come true? Because it happens to me all the time. XP I have a dream about something, and within a week it happens. Like.. all the time. XD

Like.. all the time. XD thats really weird o.O its never happened to me XP my dreams are too weird to ever come true, i think. id be really REALLY surprised if any of them did happen XP. a friend of mine on DA had some pretty creepy ones o.O like she said she had a dream about 9-11 two weeks before it happened and same with a few other events i cant seem to remember at moment. id freak out if that happened to me XD;; i do have an occasional dream where theres a major thrust fault quake here in the Pacific NW ((just ask me if you want to know more about thrust fault quakes since ive been studying them a few years in relation to my degree)) and they creep the heck out of me o.o;; and im all alone and theres destruction everywhere ((the dream always has me away from home when it happens so i dont know how my family is)). i think i dream about them because of how much i know about them and i realize that it can happen at any time. of all my dreams, thats the most likely to actually happen.

lol, when it does happen, it's usually about little things. Never anything like that o.o
lol, thats freaky. D= I had a dream the other night (probably 3 - 4 days ago) It started out with me spotting a halo in the sky, and shortly after there was a huge earthquake. It was really weird because in my dream it like.. showed me a map quickly of the US, and showing the earth quakes starting at the great lakes, and ending up clear over here, reeking havoc on about 70% of the US. XP Then the rest of my dream was all whacked out after that. lol. Obviously not something thats going to happen. Just one of my weird dreams I have. XD

Most of the stuff that happens in my dreams could never come true. XD I watch/read too much sci-fi.

No I haven't, but I have had dreams that I know are going to come true in the future. If that makes sense.

XD I watch/read too much sci-fi. while i was reading a sci-fi book called Moonseed i had a dream about it and it was kinda creepy XD lol. its one of my favorite sci-fi books ever even though the idea was kinda creepy XP with this "planet eater" thing called the moonseed that eats into the earth and makes volcanoes erupt, even long-dead ones XP in my dream, an old dead volcano wakes up near this village im traveling through so i try to get away XD not the most realistic sci-fi book ever but i love it anyways.

1. do you normally dream in color or black and white? always color
2. how often do you remember your dreams from the previous night? um...it's about 50-50.
3. how often do you have nightmares? I used to have them all the time, but none recently.
4. have you ever had a dream that you thought had a lot of meaning? lots of times. and more often than not, it really did have meaning.
5. how often do you dream in first person compared to third person perspectives? about a 1 to 5 ratio. sometimes its a mixture. like I am me in the beginning, then I'm watching me, then I am me again etc...
6. do you ever have recurring dreams? not exact dreams, but bits and peices. like places that only exist in my dreams that I couldn't remember while I'm awake. or a particular event that happens over and over, but in differnent settings. (like, I often dream my house is on fire, but the house is warped so it's not actually shaped like my house at all, but it still is my house. and every time i dream that, the warped shape is always the same in every dream)

3. how often do you have nightmares? Not a lot but every now and then one will pop up.
4. have you ever had a dream that you thought had a lot of meaning? I used to have some dreams that seemed to have meanings but recently I haven't paid them that much attention.
5. how often do you dream in first person compared to third person perspectives? It varies a lot.

Hey JadeHorse, that story of yours sounds really interesting! When you're finished will you make it available for others to read? Or is it a private sort of thing?

Many of my dreams give inspiration for small events in my stories. I can't think of any specific ones right now. XD

i have several stories of mine that are dream-inspired. one of them, ive written a synopsis for it on LJ: zelos22.livejournal.com/706.html?mode=replyits a story called Fort Johnstone and its based on an extremely vivid dream i had last January. it was a rather beautiful dream visually, but the hidden dark themes were kinda creepy, including one on cannibalism, which is actually a really important part of the story. because of that, it could probably be categorized as a horror genre. my favorite story ive worked on (but have yet to finish) thats based on a dream is one i called "Jimmie's Seven Lives" and its another dark-theme but visually beautiful story. the story is much more energetic and inspirational than Johnstone. this one and LSL are my two most difficult projects. Seven Lives is a story mostly told through descriptions of people, places and things rather than actions and dialogue because of how vivid and colorful the dream was.
