"Oh, there there sweetie." I took a deep breath. Great, I thought, I better not get this poor creature involved in--
The ground trembled slightly beneath my paws. Nila looked around. "Did you feel that?"
I looked up into the lightening sky. Too late. "Nila, get inside the cave, as deeply as you can."

OOC: Now what? I'll think of something. XD

OOC: From what you said, I guess its about to storm. X3 ------------------------------------------------------------------- Nila was running as fast as she possibly could. With Flexico being a half cheetah, he runs a lot faster. Nila looked up at the dark sky. A bolt of lightning struck the ground. Nila screamed at the now on fire ground. She ran dodging the flames. Then they finally arrived at the cave. They ran to the back, and sat down. "Wow, we get some pretty harsh storms in the savannah, eh?" Nila shook the water off her fur. She watched the outside as the rain fell down.

OOC: Actually I was leaning more toward alien invasion or something more "out-there" but this works too. ^_^ ---------------------------------------- I shook the water from my fur and snapped my tentacles to dry them a bit. I settled down next to Nila and watched the lightning snake across the sky outside.
"Wow... I love watching storms." I'm not sure how long we lay there, but soon my tail felt wet. I turned around to see the cave behind us slowly flooding! Calm, placid waters were no threat to me, so I settled back down... until it dawned on me that Nila probably didn't have gills.
"Um, Nila? Any chance you can breathe underwater?"

OOC: Oh, ok. XD -----------------------------
Nila shook her head, "I don't think so." She turned back and saw the flooding cave. Her eyes got big, "Woah."
She looked over to Flexico, "Should we run?"
