Let's predict the future.. How long will the TLK fandom last before it dies out? ;D
Update: I voted 5 years because by then the younger generation will mostly be finishing high school and looking at college. (But then what do I know.. I'm 22 and still as much a fan as ever!) What do you think?

Hmm, I'm only 11, so when I grow up and have kids, (about 20 years from now) I'll introduce them to the TLK universe. Then they might become a TLK nut like me and then the same thing will happen a couple times again. Well, at least I think so, and this is a really interesting topic!

Hey that's a cool way to look at it! I have two little girls, ages 5 and 2, and the 5-year-old has already drawn some lion art for TLKFAA. ;D Maybe she'll carry on the fandom!

I'm really not sure, it could last a reeeeaaalllly long time, or it could die in a year (well, I doubt it would in a year, but just giving an example) All I know is that I've already been introducing my 3 month old nephew to the lion king, and if I ever have kids, they all will be introduce to it as well. =)

another 20 or more!!! very few fandoms ever seem to die out XD there will always be fans of ((insert something here)). my mom has been a fan of Cyborg009 since she was in middle school and she still is a fan and i think that theres a lot of things that get "reborn" every now and then that keep the fanbase alive. especially with the internet nowadays, i think any fandom can exist forever

That's true. Heck, look at Star Wars.. They still have conventions.

heck yes!! I am a big Star Wars fan (go ahead an call me a geek)! oh yeah, and TLK is great too... I won't ever have kids (not because of any medical reason, I just don't want kids) so I won't have anyone to pass on the love for TLK to except maybe my siblings. But I voted 20 years or more because...oh I dunno...because I can I guess. XD

Hey, if you made it clear you was talkin' to me, no problemo! My real name is Robert F. Mexico, so in high school they came up with a dozen different nicknames for that, and my fave was "Flexico", so I used it as a screen name somewhere... and it just stuck. XD

I doubt it will last much longer. Look at TLKFAA all the off topic? no real cannon art? it's just a place to dump animal art now... but who knows.
