just a general question because we all have something we must enjoy doing for fun, whether its to relieve stress or to just goof off. what do you do for fun?
i enjoy sleeping... lol, im not kidding >.< my bed is so nice and comfy. then my dreams are practically like movies anyways o.O so that takes care of some entertainment needs...
i also greatly enjoy video games and the one i play the most is Halo on my computer. i game with my friends every tuesday and thursday nights (those are our meet-up nights).
then of course, my default answer: drawing. i think that will be a common answer around here >.<

The Discovery Channel. Seriously, that channel is the only reason I'd bother to pay for cable. ^^ I love to draw, but I don't as often as I'd like to, because I'm sort of self-conscious about it. :\ I used to be teased for liking cartoons. I used to ride my fourwheeler around the yard, but now I only ride when I go on trips with friends. Very, very fun, especially when it mists the day before, which keeps the dust and bugs tamed down. Once, near the end of the day of one outing near Mio, Michigan, it rained so hard we had to wade through up to three feet of water! None of the machines had any trouble, thankfully. ^_^ Surfing the Internet, of course. XD This would be my favorite site currently, followed by deviantart.com and fanart.lionking.org ;D I also enjoy my Bible Study, but that's not really a hobby; I do it out of a sense of duty. ^_^

My absolute number one favorite thing to do is read, and I read to learn. My favorite subjects are writing and Christianity. I have an all-consuming passion for Yeshua and I'm trying to reach people for him through my writing. I cast the net and it's up to him to fill it. And that's what I plan to do for the rest of my life. My second favorite thing to do is draw, but the urge comes in short, scattered bursts. I can't draw unless my heart is really in it. My third favorite thing to do is...well, MySpace. lol. I like building my page there, hording pictures, and reading my friends' blogs. (If anyone would like to look me up there, the URL is www.myspace.com/ruukahkishenzi and my display name is C. L. Richardson.)

Flexico: lol, the Disney Channel. Shark Week is coming! i watch that every year XP what else can i say besides i love sharks? XD deviantart isnt just a hobby, its a lifestyle! i probably spend at least half my online time there XD @ruukah: sorry, im a little retarded with religion-type stuff, but whats Yeshua? XD i just want to add a few more things i like to do for fun! IM REALLY TALKATIVE TONIGHT! sorry for the long post! i like to follow politics and follow politics. ive actually learned a lot in the past 2 years since i became a registered voter and i think its helped me for the better when it comes to my voting decisions. i think being politically aware and knowing whats going on in the country is a really good thing. its also fun to make fun of my favorite politicians its like watching reality tv but better! LOL! people ask me often "why do you hate (put a politician's name here) so much?" since i make fun of a wide range of politicians (the only ones i havent hit yet are the ones ive never heard of) and i always respond "how can i possibly hate anyone who entertains me so much?" XD lets just get this clear now... i dont believe in hating people, regardless of what theyve done. just because i dont always agree with what certain politicians do doesnt mean i hate them >.< probably one of my biggest hobbies is anything related to the earth sciences. im majoring in geology at college and im going to specialize in volcanoes and more specifically, geochemistry and magma composition. i also would like to minor in climatology and studies of the atmosphere. for studying on the side... earth history! i love the earth and approach most things from the geologic timescale standpoint. 1000 years = not very long, not even a blink of an eye! i climbed my first volcano as a 3rd grader and that same day visited my first geothermal area at Lassen Volcanic National Park down in California (i used to live near it). ever since, ive been completely fascinated by volcanoes and have one a few science awards in school for projects and models i had done. my mom would argue i was destined to go into geology ever since i had lived in the California Bay Area and was excited about how i could watch a fault line move from day to day near my old kindergarten and collected all kinds of rocks, even if they werent pretty XD. i was born in earthquake country and grew up in a land of volcanoes. im not afraid of either, though i havent felt an earthquake since living in the Bay Area. ive been to the top of nearly a dozen volcanoes and on the slopes on many many more including staying 5 straight days inside the caldera of one. so for fun, when i can get the car, ill drive out to favorite geologic locations, most being volcanic formations in some form or another. im also a Halo/sundog/arc chaser! if you dont know what i mean by that, check out this site--> www.atoptics.co.uk/ ive been watching the skies since i was little and have seen probably hundreds of haloes and sundogs in my life. in addition to that, im a global warming fiend! MUAHAHAHA!! im somewhat of a skeptic that its happening and ive spent many long hours of my life researching what id consider to be one of the most extremely misunderstood topics of the modern day. ive used 30+ hard science sources as well as info from my mom (she has a master's in meteorology, which is the study of weather, NOT meteors! =_= ) and all her texts. i always feel that people pretend WAY too much that they know about the complex theory of global warming when they really just plain dont *_* for example, Al Gore. ive seen his movie and i had no idea what he was talking about seriously, did he make this stuff up? XD anyways, ive done a complete background check on Al Gore's sources for the film and, well, its disturbing how he used TIME magazine articles :/ thats probably one of the worst science sources anyone can use XP im a total science person. i have several family members who have degrees in a science-based field and all of them do well at it. the most recognized is probably my uncle, who is considered one of the world's leading anthropologists

Oops sorry.. Yeshua is Jesus' actual Hebrew name. If you ever see the Passion movie, that's what they call him in it - Yeshua. So I like to call him that. Plus I think it sounds nicer.

Yeah I haven't been able to figure that out. I don't even know how the name "Jesus" came into our culture to begin with. It would make for some interesting study.. I'll put it on my list.

What to do for fun? I don't have a very big list. I guess I could be considered a boring person. lol. XP
I love love love to read. lol. Fantasy books are big on my list. Why? I have no idea. They just are. XD And educational stuff I can find myself reading all the time. In a wide range of topics. I think I have learned more the past year from reading, then I have probably in my entire life. XD I was in public school my whole life (minus 1 year XD) and well.. I didn't like paying attention to any of my teachers or doing any of their work. lol. the one year I was 'home schooled' my parents didn't even teach us (this was 6th grade for me) they just pulled us out of school, said they were homeschooling us, and then didn't teach us a single thing. We mostly just sat around the house watching TV. =/ But yeah. Reading is fun. XD
Drawing, of course. I love to draw. But some days I just cant get myself to. lol.
I've found that watching educational shows on TV is fun.. I've seen every episode of planet earth now about a billion times each. XD And I've found "the universe" a really interesting one too. The theory on how the moon was created is really interesting.. XD So hopefully my sister will move out soon, so I can have access to those channels again in my own room. I would probably watch much more of shows like that if I actually got channels in my room other then channel 13. XD (which is a channel I don't watch. lol)
I also love to (when I can, which isn't often) go up into the mountains to view a wide range of things, or go to the coast, or anything that has alot of nature. I've always loved nature and being out in nature. Not really sure why that is. o.O
I'm sure there is a billion more things.. but I really cant think of them right now. XD
lol, sleeping used to be fun, but the past 6 months or so I just cant sleep. I CANT get comfortable. I will spend the whole night just tossing and turning. It sucks. XD Not because of noise or anything, that hasn't bothered me in a long time. Just for the fact I cant get comfortable. lol
